Kvarner Palace Hotel and its park, are listed as protected cultural good in the Register of Cultural Goods of the Republic of Croatia due to their historical value. The proposed design of the park was based on the guidelines and project task of the previously conducted historical study, all for the purpose of improvement and revitalization of degraded and neglected park surfaces. In order to define the optimal placement of park content, detailed site analysis, as well as an inventory and valorization of the existing vegetation were performed, and guidelines from the historical study were respected. Lastly, conceptual designs with visualizations were created based on the aforementioned analyses and guidelines.
